The completion of this bridge complements Burrendong Bridge No. 2 and helps to greatly improve access to Lake Burrendong by allowing for wider and heavier loads. Council delivered this project in partnership with Transport for NSW. The next meeting of Council's standing committees will be held on Tuesday, 10 June 2025. The Infrastructure, Planning and Environment Committee will meet at 5.30pm, followed immediately by the Culture and Community Committee and the Corporate Services Committee. This meeting will be held in the Council Chambers with access via the conference room doors, straight off the Council carpark, on the eastern side of the Civic Administration Building, Church Street, Dubbo, and live streamed to Council's website at dubbo.nsw.gov.au.
