The work is expected to be completed by the end of April, weather permitting. Resealing will occur on identified roads across Dubbo, Wellington and the surrounding villages. The 2025 Waste 2 Art exhibition is on now until 25 May 2025. The exhibition features 69 artworks from school students, community groups and artists in the Dubbo Region. Entry to the exhibition is free. The next Ordinary Meeting of Council will be held on Tuesday, 25 March 2025 at 5.30pm. PUBLIC NOTICE PUBLIC EXHIBITION OF DRAFT PLANNING PROPOSAL POLICY TIPPING VOUCHERS ONLINE Residents with a two or three bin service can download their tipping voucher online and dispose of up to one cubic metre once a year. Tipping vouchers can be used for green waste, concrete and mixed general waste. Items not accepted include mattresses, tyres, hazardous materials, solar panels or asbestos. Council adopted a Planning Proposal Policy in 2022. The Policy has been reviewed and is being updated to ensure it complies with current legislation, policies and guidelines. The purpose of the draft Policy is to provide guidance to the community on the categories of a Planning Proposal and the application of Council's three-tiered fee structure for the assessment and processing of a Planning Proposal. A Planning Proposal is the document that explains the intended effect of, and justification for, a proposed amendment to the Dubbo Regional Local Environmental Plan 2022. The draft Policy is on public exhibition from 9am, Monday 24 March 2025 until 9am, Monday 28 April 2025. It can be viewed on Council's website at yoursay.dubbo.nsw.gov.au, or in-person at Council's Customer Experience Centres or Macquarie Regional Library branches. All submissions must quote FILE11/63.
