COUNCIL MEETING NEW POLYSTYRENE PROCESSING MACHINE The Whylandra Waste Facility and Recycling Centre is now home to a new polystyrene processing machine co- funded thanks to the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) Bin Trim Equipment Rebate Program. The new machine compresses polystyrene into denser, more manageable blocks and greatly reduces its volume, making it easier to transport and recycle. The next Ordinary Meeting of Council will be held on Tuesday 27 May 2025, at 5:30pm. This meeting will be held in the Wellington Council Chamber with access via the main entrance doors, on the corner of Nanima Crescent and Warne Street, Wellington, and live streamed to Council's website at dubbo.nsw.gov.au For a copy of the agenda and business paper for this meeting, please visit dubbo.nsw.gov.au/ About-Council/Meetings-and-Documents/council-meetings. The draft DCP incorporates subdivision and design controls, and complements the provisions of the existing Dubbo DCP 2013. The draft DCP is on exhibition from Saturday 19 April until 9am, Monday 26 May 2025. It is being re-exhibited as amendments have been made following the previous public exhibition period in November 2023. It can be viewed on Council's website at yoursay.dubbo.nsw.gov.au or in person at Council's Customer Experience Centres and Macquarie Regional Library branches. All submissions must quote CD23/4571. Following completion of the public exhibition period, all submissions provided to Council will be reviewed, and a report will be prepared for consideration at a future Council meeting.
