Distributed over the next 18 months, the guide presents Dubbo, Wellington and surrounding villages as a collaborative destination, with the partnership extending to include five other Council areas that contribute to the Great Western Plains identity. To view the guide online visit dubboregion.com.au PUBLIC EXHIBITION - PLANNING PROPOSAL - ZONING AND MINIMUM LOT SIZE AMENDMENTS TO PART OF KESWICK ESTATE A Planning Proposal has been lodged on behalf of Spicers Creek Wind Farm Pty Ltd for the south-eastern corner of Keswick Estate (approximately 10 hectares of land at part Lot 101 DP1301426). The Planning Proposal will amend the Dubbo Regional Local Environmental Plan 2022 by rezoning the subject land from R2 Low Density Residential to R1 General Residential; and removing the existing 600 square metres Minimum Lot Size provisions from the subject land. The Planning Proposal is on exhibition from Saturday 29 March 2025 until 9am, Monday 5 May 2025. It can be viewed on Council's website at yoursay.dubbo.nsw.gov.au, or in person at Council's Customer Experience Centres and Macquarie Regional Library branches. All submissions must quote CD24/9053. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES FOR ANZAC DAY MARCHES Dubbo Regional Council, in pursuance of the Roads (General) Regulation 2018, hereby gives notice that the following roads will be closed to all vehicular traffic (authorised vehicles excepted) on Friday 25 April 2025. Dubbo Darling Street between Talbragar and Wingewarra Streets from 5am to 6.30am Brisbane Street between Wingewarra and Serisier Streets and Wingewarra Street between Darling and Brisbane Streets from 9am to 10.45am. Wingewarra Street from Brisbane to Macquarie Streets and Macquarie Street from Wingewarra to Talbragar Streets from 10.15am to 11am. Talbragar Street from Macquarie Street to Memorial Drive, Victoria Park, from 10.45am to 11.15am, Darling Street from Talbragar to Wingewarra Streets from 10.15am to 1pm during the service. Wingewarra Street between Darling and Brisbane Streets between 12pm - 1pm. Wellington Mitchell Highway being Nanima Crescent and Lee Street, between Maughan and Whiteley streets from 10.45 am to 11.00 am, with the detour via Arthur, Warne, Percy and Whiteley streets. Stuart Town Molong Street, between the Burrendong Way (Alexander Street) and Bell Street from 10.30am - 1.30pm, with a detour of Molong Street via Burrendong Way and Bell Street. The purpose of the road closures is to permit the Dubbo and Wellington RSL Sub Branches and Stuart Town Anzac Day Committee to stage their ANZAC DAY MARCH. Motorists are advised that those vehicles parked within the nominated streets will not be able to be moved until the roads are opened.
