About
After a lifetime of animal experience with his father Don - a stock and station agent - Dr Duncan celebrates 36 years as a vet in 2022. Married to Maria since 1990, together they share life with their 4 children, 'Sadie' their Border Collie cross, Cattle dog cross ‘Neville’ and a cat named 'Ziva'. Duncan loves life in Dubbo, its people and their pets including dogs, cats, pocket pets, poultry, birds and reptiles. Has been an avid supporter of WIRES and their wildlife rescue work and enjoys all medical and surgical cases including avian medicine, diagnostic imaging and opthalmology. Personal interests include running and swimming. He is a self-confessed rugby tragic and optimist and still expects the Wallabies to beat the All Blacks on every occasion not once every decade! Dr Duncan regularly features on ABC Western Plains radio (95.9 FM) answering listener questions and talking about pet and animal health. Catch him with Dugald Saunders every second Thursday morning.
